Aaron Calls Carl a Liar Over Debate Request Claims
Aaron accuses Carl of fabricating claims that he repeatedly asked for a debate, saying he has zero texts or DMs to prove it: "This guy's a liar."
A brewing feud between Aaron and Carl escalated after Carl appeared on Chad Zumach's show last week and claimed he had been repeatedly asking Aaron for a debate. Carl told Chad, "I've been asking Aaron to have a debate," which Aaron says is completely fabricated. "I don't have one text. I don't have one DM. This guy's a liar," Aaron declared on his Monday morning show. Aaron revealed he deliberately provoked Carl with a jab, knowing it would get a reaction. "I took a little jab at Carl and I knew it would ruffle his feathers. Carl's very insecure. He doesn't like not having the last word," Aaron explained. He described Carl's behavior on Chad's show as "smile talking panic voice" and accused him of lying to make Aaron look bad. Carl, for his part, maintains he has brought up the debate request multiple times on his own shows and on "Who Are These Podcasts," which reaches a larger audience than Aaron's show. Carl argues that if Aaron had been paying attention, he would have seen these public requests and shouldn't be calling him a liar. The tension traces back to Carl's appearance on Chad Zumach's show where he thanked Chad for having him on and took a shot at Aaron, saying Chad was "not a [] like Aaron."
