Alex Stein Denounces Dabbleverse as Worst Place on the Internet
"I hate the Dabbleverse. The Dabbleverse is the worst place on the internet." — Alex Stein
Professional agitator Alex Stein appeared on Opie's show to publicly disavow the Dabbleverse despite months of courting the community. Despite his history as a WATP guest and collaborations with major players, Stein labeled the scene an "absolute disaster" and targeted Kevin Brennan specifically. The betrayal appears to be a mix of ego and positioning. Standing alongside an anti-Dabbleverse Opie, Stein claimed being part of the community was no longer worth it. Karl suggested Stein was playing Opie, telling him exactly what he wanted to hear to maintain his alliance. Stein addressed Scarlett Hampton's appearances on Brennan's show, calling her a "prostitute" and describing MLC as "really sad." He argued the Dabbleverse is based on the "weakness" of others, a poor imitation of old Opie and Anthony Jocktober segments. While Stein claims to be above the fray, his appearance was a 20-minute deep dive into the very drama he despised. Karl noted that Stein wants to "spin out" but his passion for the drama is what reeled him in.
