Anthony Cumia Confirms Hackamania Attendance: A Vegas Meet-and-Greet for the Dabbleverse
"It's sort of in the orbit of the dabble verse... but it's like a sub solar system of that... it's kind of a big meet and greet thing with people in this like almost like a convention." — Anthony Cumia
The Dabbleverse is decamping to the desert as Anthony Cumia officially announced his participation in Hackamania, set for April 10th through 12th in Las Vegas. Cumia describes the event as a "sub-solar system" of the Stuttering John-centric universe, serving as a massive convention for podcast fans and creators. The "Ant-Man" confirmed he will be performing a stand-up set and participating in meet-and-greets alongside Dabbleverse mainstays like Karl from WATP and Pat Dixon. The backstory of the event is already steeped in internal Compound Media lore, with Cumia recalling how promoter Michael Melton once "whailed" on fellow staffer Ryan during a Houdini-style chest-punching stunt. While Cumia admitted he rarely travels for leisure, he noted that the presence of his brother and long-time associates Mikey Cuffs and Mikey Poker made the trip a "must-do". The event represents the latest attempt to bring the digital sniping of the community into a live, high-stakes venue. Details of the "vibe" suggest a mixture of professional comedy and chaotic socializing. Cumia joked about playing blackjack and catching up with people he hasn't seen in years, while acknowledging the inherent "travel" dread that usually keeps him at his Compound. Guest host Gavin McInnes questioned the theme of the event, leading Cumia to clarify that while John Melendez is the "point of focus" for the community, this event is about the wider network of creators. Where this stands is a full-steam-ahead production for April. promoters are leaning into the "Dabbleverse Mania" branding to draw in the "elite" members of the scene. While some, like Cumia, are skeptical of the travel involved, the promise of a "fun night had by all" and the chance to clink beer bottles with internet rivals has the community bracing for what could be the definitive Dabbleverse summit of 2026.
