Brian Landon Tries Booking Isotopes Band for Hotel Room Gig
Brian Landon emailed the Isotopes band requesting they play either on the street after Rodney's show or in his hotel room at the Lot New York Palace.
The hosts revealed a behind-the-scenes email Brian Landon sent to the Isotopes band at spitbeer@theisotopes.com. Landon inquired about having the band or part of the band play either 'on the street after Rodney's show is over' or 'a couple members play in my hotel room at the Lot New York Palace,' adding he'd 'keep it a surprise.' The email came in connection with a standup show at Rodney's featuring Kevin Brennan, Chad Zumach, and Bob Levy. The person managing the Isotopes email, identified as Croch (formerly of a podcast), had no idea what Landon was talking about and politely declined: 'We're a rock band in Rochester, New York that plays nightclubs. Doesn't sound like we'd be a good fit.' The hosts characterized Landon as 'a puppeteer of sorts' and 'a mover and a shaker' for his attempts to orchestrate Dabbleverse events.
