Jerry Weaponizes Faith to Beg Woman Back
Jerry invoked God and Jesus in messages begging the woman to reconnect, despite never having cared about Christianity before.
In a desperate attempt to salvage the eight-day relationship, Jerry turned to religious rhetoric in his messages to the woman. He wrote: 'I don't think God wants us to figure out everything on our own. Like we have other people so we can work together, you know, and I think trying to figure out everything by yourself is where suffering comes.' The hosts mocked this approach, with one saying: 'Weaponize her faith, Jerry. Good instincts on this one. Is that what Jesus would want you to do? Not see me anymore? I don't think so.' Another added sarcastically: 'Jesus wanted them to be together. It's why they had a date in the first place.' The hosts noted the irony of Jerry suddenly turning to prayer, calling him 'a man who's never cared about Christianity or Jesus or religion.' Jerry described praying constantly: 'I was praying so hard. I was just praying, praying constantly, praying to God, to Jesus, my dad.'
