A caller named Roachi directly challenged Karmic's self-proclaimed musician status, stating: 'You talk about what a musician you are, yet you show no proof of any musical abilities whatsoever. You've never played an instrument. I don't think you've ever sung anything a cappella on key ever.' The caller compared Karmic to Joey C, suggesting both should 'put efforts into something that is a little more productive, like making a living that way.' The segment also touched on the growing trend of streamers charging for karaoke performances, with one host noting someone charged $30 for a karaoke request while others do it for free. Karmic was later compared to Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots, but with the caveat that he looks like Weiland 'only with a [drug] problem,' adding that 'Scott Weiland would never put up with that, Karmic.'
