Chille DeCastro (Delete Lawz)
Also known as: Delete Lawz, Chille, Jose DeCastro, Jose Maria DeCastro, Chile DeCastro
Jose Maria 'Chille' DeCastro was born in Colombia and raised in the United States, graduating from Soldotna High School in 1992 and Clackamas Community College in 1995. Before his YouTube career, he worked as a personal trainer and motivational speaker, building a persona focused on self-improvement and empowerment. That foundation would later inform his transition into First Amendment activism, though his methods would become far more confrontational than his early career suggested. DeCastro launched his Delete Lawz YouTube channel in 2020, focusing on police accountability and First Amendment auditing. The channel features hundreds of videos where he analyzes police body-camera recordings and footage from other auditors, often spending hours critiquing law enforcement conduct frame by frame. His content combines aggressive anti-police rhetoric with what he claims is constitutional scholarship, though his legal interpretations appear heavily influenced by sovereign citizen misunderstandings of case law. He markets himself as a constitutional law scholar despite having no formal legal training, law degree, or bar certification. The Delete Lawz brand itself has a complicated origin story. It was originally owned by Jeff Brandon Lloyd, who served as producer on DeCastro's DLAW TV series before their partnership dissolved. DeCastro continued using the name and built it into a recognizable brand within the First Amendment auditing community, eventually growing his subscriber count to over 680,000. His primary revenue stream comes from selling 'trifold' cards -- laminated pocket

- Las Vegas Arrest and Overturned Conviction (2023): DeCastro is arrested for obstructing an officer while filming a traffic stop in Las Vegas, convicted, and sentenced to 180 days in jail. - Copyright Wars and Community Feuds (2023-2025): DeCastro issues DMCA takedown notices against fellow auditors and critics including LackLuster, Glober Mom, and Irish Demon (John O'Dea), drawing accusations of hypocrisy from those who argue a First Amendment advocate shouldn't weaponize copyright law to silence commentary. He files a defamation lawsuit against Dale Hiller of the LackLuster channel in June 2025.
- Falling Out with Press with Rancor (2023-2024): DeCastro promises fellow auditor Garrett Van Nett (Press with Rancor) $48,000 for legal defense but only pays a fraction before ending their friendship, creating a public rift that damages DeCastro's reputation within the auditing community and generates ongoing drama.

He solicits investors and offers pre-sales to fund production, but the project appears to stall after falling short of funding goals. DeCastro claims to be working on more important projects.
- Dabbleverse Coverage Begins (2023-Present): Who Are These Socials, co-hosted by Karl Hamburger and Blind Mike, begins featuring DeCastro's content in episodes like 'Delete Lawz Goes To Jail,' analyzing his police simulator videos and confrontational tactics. The coverage brings DeCastro's antics to the Dabbleverse audience, where his earnest self-seriousness meets deadpan deconstruction.
- Active Warrants and Ongoing Legal Issues (Ongoing): DeCastro accumulates active warrants in Ohio and Oklahoma while being flagged in police databases for potential violent tendencies. His extensive legal history dating back to 2002 includes protection orders, traffic violations across multiple states, and numerous civil rights lawsuits -- none of which he has won.
