Geno Bisconte
Geno Bisconte is a stand-up comedian, roast writer, and podcaster best known as the co-host of In Hot Water on Compound Media alongside Aaron Berg. A fifteen-year veteran of the New York City comedy scene, Bisconte built his reputation through brash, high-energy stand-up and a knack for roast comedy -- writing for Comedy Central Roasts of Charlie Sheen (2011) and Rob Lowe (2016) and performing at Friars Club events. His daily show on Compound Media became one of the network's flagship programs, running from 2016 through the network's dissolution in 2024. Bisconte's tenure at Compound Media was marked by both creative output and explosive interpersonal conflict. In June 2022, fellow Compound Media host Pat Dixon sucker-punched Bisconte at Sullivan's Bar near the studio, breaking his jaw and requiring surgery. Dixon was subsequently fired from the network. Separately, a long-running feud with Kevin Brennan -- ignited when Brennan's phone number was accidentally broadcast during a live In Hot Water caller segment -- escalated into on-air confrontations that Anthony Cumia himself tried and failed to mediate.
