Karl Hamburger is a podcast host and comedy commentator whose central project is Who Are These Podcasts? (WATP). Active since 2016, WATP invites Karl and a rotating range of guest co-hosts to listen to and critique popular and lesser-known podcasts. Its official description highlights frank reviews, listener-submitted targets and comedy; the recurring format uses selected clips as the basis for commentary. The show is published through its own website and major podcast platforms. WATP became closely associated with the network of podcast and livestream personalities often called the Dabbleverse. Karl's episodes include recurring segments discussing the work and responses of Stuttering John Melendez and others in this media ecosystem. Commentary and public disagreements are part of the programming, but disputed claims about other people should be attributed to their speakers rather than stated as established facts. In December 2022, Karl and Blind Mike introduced Who Are These Socials? The official WATP pilot announcement describes a show applying their comedic format to social media personalities, with a December 9, 2022 debut. In 2026, Karl and Blind Mike also co-host Dabbleverse Live, a regular roundup of the week's stories. The official WATP episode archive includes Dabbleverse Live installments, including an October 2026 episode with guest Roachy.
