Alex Stein (born October 8, 1987), known as Prime Time 99, is a comedian, podcaster, and political satirist from Dallas, Texas. Raised in Highland Park, he attended LSU where he won their Last Comic Standing competition (2010). After training at the Nerdist School in LA, he returned to Dallas and rose to internet fame in 2022 through viral city council trolling videos. He hosted "Prime Time with Alex Stein" on Blaze TV from February 2023 to November 2025 (370+ episodes, 367K YouTube subscribers). Known for ambushing politicians like AOC and Dan Crenshaw, appearing on Fishtank reality show, and guest spots on WATP. Describes himself as a populist centrist. As of 2026, he operates independently after leaving Blaze TV, continuing provocative city council appearances and college comedy tours with Turning Point USA.
