Stephen Baldwin

Also known as: Stephen, Baldwin, The Least Famous Baldwin, Stevie B

Stephen Andrew Baldwin was born on May 12, 1966, in Massapequa, Long Island, New York, the youngest of the four Baldwin brothers -- Alec, Daniel, William, and Stephen. Growing up on Long Island in a Catholic family of six children, Stephen was always the wildcard of the clan, the one most likely to chase whatever shiny object appeared on the horizon. Baldwin's first notable role was as William 'Billy' Cody in the ABC western series The Young Riders (1989-1992), where he played a fictionalized version of Buffalo Bill alongside Josh Brolin and a young Viggo Mortensen. The show ran for three seasons and gave Baldwin his first taste of regular television work. He followed it with a string of 1990s film roles that represented the peak of his mainstream acting career. In 1995, he appeared in Bryan Singer's The Usual Suspects alongside Kevin Spacey, Gabriel Byrne, and Benicio del Toro -- a film that became a modern classic and remains the most prestigious credit on his resume. The following year, he starred in Bio-Dome (1996) with Pauly Shore, a critically savaged comedy that somehow became a cult favorite through sheer force of stupidity. After the 1990s, Baldwin's film career contracted rapidly. He cycled through a series of direct-to-video action films, B-movies, and low-budget productions that suggested a man running out of Hollywood capital. Films like Slap Shot 2: Breaking the Ice (2002), The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000), and Shark in Venice (2008) charted the traje
